Who would care for your elderly dog if you became disabled, or even died?

Abandonment is common, at shelters, in the streets or euthanized.  Friends or relatives may give your dog minimal care – possibly tied up in the yard or garage.

Your dog devoted most of his life to you – how could you destroy his trust?

The Aging Dog Association helps homeless and at-risk senior dogs.

We help meet the special needs of senior dogs, such as:

  • Aging dogs adoption programs.
  • Subsidized veterinary care to senior dogs owned by people on fixed incomes.

Medical assistance and orthopedic beds for old dogs at shelters and rescue organizations.Yes I want to help

Public donations – like yours, help support aging dogs at non-profit animal welfare organizations. We require accountability for every donation or assistance program.

Dogs can’t pick their caregivers, and they deserve our love and care in their senior years.

Your donations will help fund programs like these around the country:

Aging Canine Education provides senior dogs with medical, specialized physical therapy, and fun swims in heated therapy pools.  Indoor warm pools with special ramps, and float coats are life saving for senior dogs, which cannot exercise or socialize like other dogs.

Doggie Dental Disease received a grant to provide care for senior dogs with dental disease.

Disaster Rescue for Dogs is often the first animal care responders after hurricanes, floods, wildfires or other natural or man-made disasters.  DRD is dedicated to the most vulnerable — the old, the very young, the sick, the injured, the abandoned, neglected and the abused dogs.

Blind Dog Rescue Group is dedicated to recuing blind and visually impaired dogs and educating their new owners, and the public about these wonderful dogs.

Plus many, many more.  Please check them out at The Aging Dog Association.
